Meeting with Sandmonkey

Århus Stiftstidende and the Folkeuniversitet offer you the first opportunity in Denmark to meet the blogger "Sandmonkey", who during Cairo's hectic February brought the message to the demonstrators in Egypt and throughout the world over 18 moving days when millions crying for democracy finally overthrew the country's former president, Hosni Mubarak. A dream come true for the famous blogger and twitter, who has now revealed himself as the 29-year-old online development consultant Mahmoud Salem.
Foreign Editor Kristian Mouritzen will interview and debate with the blogger, and Mark Sedgwick, Arab and Islamic Studies, Aarhus University, will talk about the background to the uprising.
Price: 150 kr (students 75 kr). Registration at http://fuau.dk/main.aspx?pagetype=15&HoldNr=11917.
